Employee Benefits


Perseus House, Inc. offers Medical, dental, vision and life insurance. Employees become eligible the beginning of the month following sixty (60) days of employment.

Paid Time Off

Employees accrue vacation from date of hire equal to 80 hours per year for the first two years of employment. For years two through seven 120 hours per year, years seven through ten 160 hours per year and ten + years 200 hours per year. Employees are also provided 56 hours of sick time and 24 hours of personal time per year.

Unused Sick Time

On the employee’s anniversary, any unused sick time can be converted to vacation time, be converted to their 401(k) at $6.25 per hour or cashed out at $6.25 per hour. Unused personal time can be cashed out at $6.25 per hour. Personal time and sick time are replenished on the employee’s anniversary date.


Perseus House observes eight (8) holidays. If an employee is required to work on a holiday, the employee will be paid double time. If the employee is scheduled to be off on the holiday they will receive a paid day off within that same week or be paid out for the holiday at regular pay.

Short/Long Term Disability

Short/Long Term Disability benefits are provided after one year of service. The employee becomes eligible for these benefits on their one-year anniversary. There is no cost to the employee for these benefits.

401(k) Pension Plan

Employees may elect to participate in the 401(k) pension plan after one year of service. Perseus House will match 100% of the first 5% an employee contributes. In addition, whether an employee decides to participate or not, Perseus House will contribute 3.5% of your gross pay to the plan on your behalf.
