What We Do

Perseus House provides a variety of residential, educational programs and resources for school-aged youth in the Erie community and across Pennsylvania. Our highly qualified staff work to effectively intervene in the lives of seriously troubled adolescents, to assist them in avoiding future contact with the juvenile justice and child welfare systems and to help them toward successful adulthood using our evidence based practices.

The Perseus House Residential Treatment Programs use individualized behavioral health therapies for juvenile justice, child-welfare, and/or mental health system residents. Perseus House has an excellent reputation for treating adolescents from various backgrounds with 83 percent successfully completing their treatment. We provide treatment with our seven residential units for children across the state of Pennsylvania. We also have a Shelter Program in Erie County for court ordered male and female adolescents.

Perseus House Community Based professionals provide a variety of educational programs and resources for school-aged youth, both in the school setting and in the Erie community. Our Community Based program goals are to help adolescents get back on track and to avoid residential placement.
